Inclement Weather
We do not offer services when Dennis-Yarmouth Schools are closed. For late start and early close of schools, service is left to the discretion of the volunteer. Call 508-470-0585 if in doubt.
If Bay to Sound Neighbors does cancel scheduled services due to weather conditions, a volunteer with a scheduled service should do the following:
(1) Place a courtesy call to the member to let him/her know that Bay to Sound Neighbors has cancelled service visits that day;
(2) Ask the member to contact Bay to Sound Neighbors by phone or email if he or she wants to reschedule the service;
(3) Notify the Service Coordinator either by phone or email that the service visit has been cancelled and that the member has been notified.
